stlouisasbestosremoval.com operates St Louis Asbestos Removal. Whatever you submit is forwarded to exactly one independent local asbestos removal company, and that company may pay us a fee. The sections that follow answer four questions: which data we take in, why, who gets a look, and how many months it remains on file.
Which data do we take in?
From phone calls we log the number you dialed from, when the call happened, how many minutes it ran, and an audio copy. Callers are told at the outset that recording is on. Our telephony vendor, Twilio, may add a city and state guess tied to the caller's number.
If you leave a voicemail, we have whatever you chose to say. A message can include a name, a callback number, a ZIP code and the work you need.
When you use the quote form, we store the name, number, ZIP code and service you enter, along with any notes or photos, the page you were on, and when it was sent, from which IP address and in which browser. Those last three items are how we can show you consented.
Just visiting also leaves traces: servers register your IP address, the pages you ask for and your browser type. There are no ad cookies and no tracking scripts on this site.
Why do we need it?
Three reasons. First, so we can phone you about your request. Second, so the one company handling it can reach you and price the job. Third, for housekeeping: separating real requests from spam, resolving any disagreement with that company about a request, and protecting the service from abuse.
Apart from that company, the vendors listed in the next section and disclosures the law requires, nobody receives your details. We do not sell them, we do not use them to pitch unrelated offers, and we send no marketing texts or robocalls.
Texts and automated calls happen only if you choose them: the quote form has a box for that, left blank unless you check it. Once opted in, you can end them at any time by texting STOP.
Who gets to see it?
The company that takes your request sees your phone number, the message or form content and, for a call, a link to its recording. A second asbestos removal company never gets any of that from us.
Vendors working behind the scenes are limited to these:
- Twilio, for phone numbers, routing and recording. It also retains its own recordings, governed by its own policy.
- Hostinger, for hosting and email, together with our email service.
- Anthropic, whose AI tools help sort incoming calls and messages, for instance flagging junk or misdialed calls.
We would also disclose information when the law requires it, for example under a valid court order.
How many months is it kept?
We delete our own copies of call recordings after 12 months, except where an open question still concerns that particular call. A recording link we pass to the company dies after 30 days. Remaining request information is held while the purposes above still apply and for any period that record-keeping laws impose.
What can you ask of us?
Subject to the law, you can request a copy of what we hold on you, a correction, or deletion. Reach out through the contacts at the end of this page, and give the number you phoned from; it is how we find your file.
Is this for children?
No. This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child under 13.
When this policy is revised
A revision means an edited page and a new date at the bottom.
